Barking Riverside Block Party
Back for its second year, The Block Party returns as one of Emerge East’s standout festival experiences. Blending performances from homegrown talent with exciting artists from across London, it brings an electric atmosphere to the heart of Barking Riverside.
The day begins with performances and showcases from local artists and community groups, brought to life on a stage inspired by Barking Riverside’s unique riverside landscape and natural surroundings.
As the day unfolds, the energy builds. One Room - Barking & Dagenham’s acclaimed music and arts collective - returns to curate a journey through East London’s vibrant music scene. Expect DJ sets from an eclectic line-up of emerging and established artists.
The celebrations end with an unforgettable headline performance by DJ AG.
DJ AG
DJ AG is a Tottenham-born open-format DJ who turns London's streets into stages. Known for viral livestream sets with surprise appearances from artists like Skepta, Central Cee, Jorja Smith and Ed Sheeran, he's built a movement rooted in community and raw talent. Beyond the decks, AG uses music to spread joy and amplify overlooked voices — with nearly 70 million views on Instagram and TikTok in the past month alone.
Mak 10
Mak 10 is one of the UK's most respected DJs, known for bridging genres and bringing people together through music. Rising through grime and UK garage, he's become a leading force in Afro House and Tribal House, collaborating with artists including Skrapz, Horace Brown and Dizzee Rascal — and recently signing with Sony Music. Beyond the decks, Mak 10 uses his platform to share his journey of recovery.
Glade Marie
Glade Marie is a London-based DJ, event producer and creative professional specialising in music of Black origin. As Brand Ambassador for Saffron Music, she's featured on BBC and Netflix, collaborated with Nike, Adidas and F1, and played Drumsheds, KOKO and Fabric. She's opened for Jorja Smith and Kehlani, blending R&B with soulful electronic sound, and mentors emerging DJs through Saffron Music's gender-equality programme.
Donnie Sunshine
Donnie Sunshine is an East London DJ, photographer, curator and all-round creative, known for sliding effortlessly through musical eras — reviving forgotten classics alongside fresh niche selections while keeping the energy high. This eclectic style has made him a fixture across London's music, fashion, brand and festival scenes, with reach into the wider UK, European and global markets.
RAIDAA
RAIDAA is a DJ and presenter on Voices Radio, known for playful curation across hip-hop, jazz, neo-soul, R&B and soul. Her sets move from slow burn to big stepper tunes — built for sunshine, a groove and everything in between.
One Room Takeover

Robert Bruce
Capital Xtra breakfast presenter Robert Bruce is known for waking up the nation alongside Shayna Marie, who headlines Emerge East in 2025. Rob returns for a second year to host The Block Party Stage, keeping the energy going all day.
