The Barking Riverside Block Party
The Block Party is a bold new addition to the Emerge East programme - blending performances from homegrown talent with bold, exciting acts from across London.
The day begins with community performances and showcases by local artist groups, brought to life through a stage design inspired by Barking Riverside’s distinctive natural environment and riverside setting.
As the day unfolds, the energy builds. One Room - Barking & Dagenham’s acclaimed music and arts collective - takes over with a sonic journey through East London’s evolving music scene. Expect genre-blending sets from an eclectic line-up of DJs, certain to celebrate emerging voices and respected names from the local scene alike, drawing a loyal crowd across the borough and beyond.
The Barking Riverside Block party will be hosted by Capital’s Xtra’s Robert Bruce, between 2pm - 9pm.
