Pollinators Meadow and Planting Workshop

Pollinators Meadow and Planting Workshop

Facilitated by Acre Landscapes

The Pollinator Meadow will be an open-ended play landscape where children can discover the vital role that bees, butterflies and other pollinators play in supporting plant life. Families will have the opportunity to take part in planting activities, learn about healthy soil and how it supports biodiversity, and use discovery tools to explore insects and plants up close.

Through collecting, transporting, sorting and hands-on nature exploration, children will be encouraged to engage with the landscape, use their imagination, and learn through play.

Supported by Acre Landscapes, who are contributing to the meadow's build, generously donating plants in kind, and leading a creative planting workshop as part of the project.
