Clara Chu is a London-based fashion accessories designer whose practice reimagines everyday objects from the domestic world, merging mass production with handcraftsmanship. Her colourful, playful accessories challenge conventional ideas about what we wear, transforming often-overlooked household items—including mops, toasters and toothbrushes—into unexpected objects of fashion and desire. Clara's creative practice explores upcycling and repair as a response to the prevalence of fast-moving consumer goods, while playfully blurring the boundaries between “high” and “low” culture.
